At the U20 Mayors Summit 2021, the Governor of Jakarta, representing Indonesia, addressed the issue of Post-Pandemic Cities. They presented six urban issues that would be the main focus of discussions in Jakarta in August 2022. To prepare for these discussions, Citieslab supported IAP, and the Government of West Java Province organized an international seminar on March 2, 2022. The event brought together 12 speakers from various urban stakeholders, both domestic and international. The aim was to refine the issue notes, with the overarching theme being “Strengthening the Role of Cities in handling climate and pandemic crises.” The main points of these six issues include:

1. Economy and Social Recovery for All: “Strengthening urban economy resilience through enlarging digital market of small and informal economy, creative Industries, and digital villages.”
2. Productive and Affordable Housing: “Providing Multipurpose Housing and Neighborhood with sharing activities and facilities.”
3. Renewable Energy Transition: “Implementing energy conservation and efficiency by low-income groups and designing energy-efficient cities powered by Renewable Energy.”
4. Equal Access to Sustainable Mobility: “Promoting active transportations with Equal Access and Universal Design, supported by Transit-oriented Development design.”
5. Mental Health and Pandemic Resilience: “Strengthening family care and developing Social Safeguard System based on Social Capital.”
6. Future of Works: “Preparing the Green and Digital Competence of Workforce Groups and Reducing Gaps of Jobs Polarization.”
